The Club recently held our annual summer tournaments at Trimdon Village Community College on Sunday 10th and Sunday 17th July 2011 with over 650 children attending over the two days to participate in what was an excellent footballing event.
We would like to thank all of those who attended for their support and enthusiasm which helped us to enjoy the event, despite the rain on the second Sunday. We hope you had as much fun as we did. You are all to be commended for your sporting attitude and behavior which is what is important to the success of our football clubs.
Thanks also go to the staff of Trimdon Community College for their support and assistance both on the days and in the planning and co-ordinating of the events and to the Match Officials, with out whose help we could not hold the events.
Also to the Players and Parents of the Club for their work, not only in playing football and getting children ready to play but for the running of activities such as car parking, tombola stalls and match result co-ordination.
From a footballing point of view the talent on show over the two days was exceptional with each and every child giving their individual best for their team; hopefully some of them may go on to make a living from the sport but each and everyone of them has the ability to ensure they stay fit and make friends by continuing to participate at their own level.

Under 9 Girls – Bishop Auckland St Mary’s Devils
Under 11 Girls – Newton Aycliffe Youth Centre AFC
Hopefully we will see you all again next year with provisional dates being Sunday 8th and Sunday 15th July 2012
